parts you are putting back on your equipment. Putting on the correct type of band, designed
with the correct watt density and materials is the best way to get the most productivity out of
your machines. Putting cheap low quality bands on machine, costs productivity and down
time for a zero return. For the difference of a few dollars in price will cost you thousands in
productivity. Let’s look at a few styles of bands that can keep you machine up and running.
Mica bands are designed as one of the most flexible heaters in the market. They can be used
in any industry and application. They are able to run up to 950 degrees F. They can handle oil,
moisture and can handle some of the dirtiest and roughest applications in any industry. The
Mica Band can handle any voltage and a wide verity of watt densities.

When using Mica Bands you have choices that allow for a user to be able to slip them on,
spread them and put the over an area and use two pieces or split bands for easy installation.
With slip on bands you can slip them over the end of a round product that needs to be heated
or have a controlled temperature. The bendable bands have a joint in them that allows to rap
the heater over a pipe, barrel or middle of an object for easy installation in the area when there
